My name is Aditya Bansal…
but you can call me Adi
I am 17 years old and I was born in India. I’m currently studying on the Engineering and Science Foundation course at the Huddersfield International Study Centre.
My careers adviser in India said that Huddersfield was a good choice for me so I’m studying Engineering and Science and I’d like to do a degree in multimedia.
I like studying in England very much as it is very different to India. In India you have to do a lot of things for yourself and you don’t get much help. It is a lot more organised here in England. The teachers are very good at guiding you and there is also a lot more flexibility here.
I’m enjoying classes very much. Maths is easy for me so I get on very well, I enjoy it although it is sometimes hard to get through it. I like the teachers very much, they help me a lot.
In the evening I do drawing or photography and working on making movies on my computer. We also have a bar in our accommodation block and I like to go there and play pool with friends. I have friends here from India also – a friend who is doing his third year of engineering and another who is studying music. They are all lovely people and it is a lot of fun!
